What to expect
Starting therapy can feel like a big step. My hope is that by the time you walk through my door (or log into our virtual session), you'll feel like you already know what to expect.
Here’s how it works..
-
Starting is simple.
Click the "Request an Appointment" button anywhere on my website, and I'll personally reach out within one business day to answer any questions and help you find a time that works for you.
If it feels like we're a good fit, we'll find a time that works and take it one step at a time.
-
Once you're scheduled, you'll receive access to my secure client portal where you'll complete your intake paperwork and enter a card to keep on file.
Nothing complicated.
Just enough to help us make the most of our time together.
-
You don't need to have your whole story figured out before you walk through my door.
Seriously.
Some people show up with a list.
Some cry before we even sit down.
Some aren't even sure where to start.
All of that is welcome here.
Our first session is simply about getting to know each other, understanding what brought you in, and beginning to figure out where you want to go from here.
You don't have to impress me, perform, or have all the right words. You just have to show up. We'll take it from there.
Still not sure?
That's okay.
You don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out. If you're wondering whether therapy is the right fit, I'd love to talk with you. Schedule a free 15-minute consultation, and we'll figure it out together.
The practical stuff
-
Therapy is an investment, and I believe it should feel worthwhile.
Individual Therapy: $150
Couples/Family Therapy: $200
Sessions are approximately 55 minutes.
-
I currently operate as a private-pay practice.
This allows me the freedom to tailor therapy to you instead of an insurance company.
If you have out-of-network benefits, I'm happy to provide a superbill that you can submit for possible reimbursement.
-
Life happens.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, I simply ask for at least 24 hours' notice.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to the cancellation fee outlined in my informed consent paperwork.
-
Whether you're sitting across from me in my office or joining from your couch at home, the goal is the same:
A space where you can show up honestly.
