Hi, I’m Katie.

I wish I could tell you I became a therapist because I had life all figured out. But the truth is, I became a therapist because I don't. I'm still learning, still growing, still becoming. Somewhere along the way, I realized that's true for all of us.

I don't believe therapy is only for people who are "broken"; I think it's for people who are human. People carrying things that have gotten heavy. People trying to untangle relationships, grief, anxiety, faith, shame, expectations, or simply the feeling that life isn't quite how they hoped it would be. I don't have all the answers. But I am committed to sitting with you while we look for them together.

The Professional Part

For the people who like to check credentials 😉, I get it. Choosing a therapist is personal, but qualifications matter too.

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Education in Counseling and the owner of Vine & Branch Counseling. Before opening my private practice, I spent several years in education, school counseling, and group private practice, experiences that continue to shape the way I connect with and care for my clients today.

I work primarily with adults and couples navigating grief, anxiety, relationships, boundaries, family dynamics, life transitions, and the parts of life that feel hard to explain in a neat little sentence.

My work is grounded in evidence-based therapy, but I don't believe therapy should feel clinical, cold, or one-size-fits-all. I care far more about what is actually helpful for you than fitting you into a particular approach.
